Lost!

Good morning everyone!

LOST:

Yes, today he is even crazier than he was in this picture!

The mind of one large, black Labrador Retriever/Great Dane mix named Darwin.  The mind was last seen functioning on Friday morning, September 2, immediately before he was dropped off at the kennel.  It was first noticed missing yesterday, September 6 after he was returned from the kennel.  The kennel does not have said mind, so we can only assume it was lost somewhere in transit.

If you find Darwin’s mind, please return it immediately.  Doing so will greatly aid the survival of said Darwin, as he is mercilessly harassing both his sisters to play with him, running around the house like crazy, crashing into furniture as he tries to clear corners with paws and legs too big to give him good traction on the wooden floor, chewing everything he can get his mouth on, investigating counters for left-over food and just generally being a nuisance.  At this time, no reward is being offered as we are not sure of the size or effectiveness of said mind should it ever be recovered.

 Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Have a great day everyone!

 Nancy

  1. The last – and only – time we ever left the dog into kennels we returned to find he had a cigarette burn on his nose. Like your experience, the kennels denied all knowledge!!! Nuff sadi??

    • I hate that you had a bad experience with a kennel. A cigarette burn is pretty inexcusable. We have been very fortunate; with one exception (and that was in Charlotte, North Carolina over 20 years ago), we have had very good kennels. The one that we use now is the first one we have ever taken the dogs too that they are excited to go to; they always got a little unhappy at being left at the others. I can’t really blame the kennel for Darwin losing his mind; he does it every so often with or without them! What kind of dog do you have?

  2. Very, very funny 🙂 Loved it!

  3. My dog lost her mind and was sick after her last two day visit. And we all know how the pick-up went….I have my mind changed about kennels.

    • I hate to hear that your dog had such a bad experience; like I said in an earlier comment, we are very lucky to have the kennel we have now. I hope your dog feels better soon!
